Wraparound Care Supervisor

We are looking for a dynamic, creative, resourceful and experienced supervisor for our Acorns Club that supports children attending our breakfast club and our afterschool provision at Thames Ditton Infant School. A passion for working with children and the ability to maintain a fun, happy and secure environment is essential.

 

To provide day-to-day management, quality childcare provision and supervise support staff in Acorns Club which includes Breakfast Club, After School Club and Holiday Schemes.

You are required to hold a relevant NVQ3 qualification (or equivalent) and have experience working with children in the 4 - 7 years age range.

 

Working hours are to be arranged with successful candidate: 18.5 to 22 hours per week (during term time)

Breakfast club runs 7.15am – 8:30am, and Afterschool Club runs 3pm – 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

 

Must be willing to work in school holidays. This will include a different working pattern, e.g. 8.30am – 4.30pm (7 hours). We are looking to expand the provision by opening the provision during more holiday periods so more working weeks will be required.

Teaching Assistant

The following exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful team at Thames Ditton Infant School. The primary responsibilities are to provide additional support to enable the pupils to achieve maximum access to the national curriculum. It will assist the school in meeting the pupils need for encouragement, reassurance, and attending to their personal requirements and physical care whilst encouraging self help at all times. 

 

The position will be on a 38.6 week per year (term time) for 30 hours per week. The working hours will be from 8:45am-3:15pm Monday to Friday, with an unpaid half hour break during the hours of work.

Learning Support Assistants

The following exciting opportunity has arisen for a Learning Support Assistant to join our wonderful team at Thames Ditton Infant School. The role of the Learning Support Assistant will be to support pupils with Special Educational Needs by giving them maximum access to the curriculum and tailoring provision to their needs.

 

The position will be a permanent contract on 38 weeks per year (term time) for 30 hours per week. The working hours will be from 8:30am-3pm Monday to Friday, with an unpaid half hour break during the hours of work.

Wraparound Play Assistants

We are always on the look out for Play Assistants to support our Acorns Breakfast and Afterschool clubs. 

 

At Acorns children learn to solve problems, make decisions and take acceptable risks through a range of fun and challenging outdoor activities. Our wraparound provision is child led, and offers opportunities and activities that are not offered with standard wraparound providers. It is important to us that each child enjoys their sessions with us.

 

The before school hours are 7:15am – 8:45am and our after school hours are 3pm to 6.15pm term time only - 5 days a week (Monday to Friday).

 

We can offer flexible contracts to suit your schedule!
