Midday Supervisors Needed!

We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly people to join our wonderful and supportive lunchtime team as Midday Supervisors. Would you like to join us?

This role is designed to provide the best possible service for our children at lunchtimes. It will involve setting up the hall and play areas before and after lunch so that we can provide a streamlined service for our children. It will also involve supervising the children, both in the hall when eating and outside during play times.

We are extremely proud of our wonderful school and have a strong team work ethos. This role will be well supported by wider staff members and there will be opportunities for further development and training. 

The role can additionally be a fantastic stepping stone into other roles within schools (for example, Teaching Assistant and Learning Support Assistant roles).

Wraparound Play Assistants

We are always on the look out for Play Assistants to support our Acorns Breakfast and Afterschool clubs. 

At Acorns children learn to solve problems, make decisions and take acceptable risks through a range of fun and challenging outdoor activities.

Our wraparound provision is child led, and offers opportunities and activities that are not offered with standard wraparound providers. It is important to us that each child enjoys their sessions with us. For this reason we will offer three different activities at different bases each day:

Base 1: Field or playground - A sports activity

Base 2: Garden Room - Art or Cookery

Base 3: Treetops - Wellbeing or Nature Activity

Base 4: Library - Quiet Activity

The before school hours are 7:15am – 8:45am and our after school hours are 3pm to 6.15pm term time only - 5 days a week (Monday to Friday).

You need to be an enthusiastic, flexible, patient, energetic team player who loves working with children in a more casual environment.
