Consultation: Admissions Arrangements for 2025/26 for Thames Ditton Infant School
We are consulting on our Admissions Arrangements for 2025/26. The proposed Admissions Arrangements for 2025/26 are available here.
Anyone wishing to participate in the consultation is encouraged to read this.
The key change to our admissions arrangements is as follows:
Across Elmbridge and surrounding areas for 2025/26 and beyond, the pupil forecast indicates low demand for Reception places. A reduction of the PAN (Published Admission Numbers) at Thames Ditton Infant School from 90 to 60 places from 2025-26 is therefore proposed. The School Governing Body and Headteacher are in agreement with this proposal, which will assist the school both organisationally and financially.
A reduction of the PAN at Thames Ditton Infant School from 90 to 60 places from 2025/26 is proposed following a drop in the number of applications and allocations for September 2023. The pupil forecast indicates low demand for Reception places across Elmbridge and the surrounding area for 2025/26 and beyond. A reduction in PAN would create a better match of places to expected demand, protecting the financial viability of the school moving forward.
