We warmly invite prospective parents to join us for a tour of Thames Ditton Infant School and see our school in action.

Our tours are a wonderful opportunity to hear from our Headteacher, Mrs Leach, visit our classrooms, see our children engaged in their learning and explore our shared indoor and outdoor spaces. There will also be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get a real sense of what makes Thames Ditton Infant School such a special place to learn and grow.

Upcoming Tour Dates

• Tuesday 13 October 2026 – 9:00am
• Thursday 5 November 2026 – 9:00am
• Tuesday 17 November 2026 – 9:00am

Tours start promptly at 9:00am. Please arrive a few minutes early and report to the front desk.

What to Expect

Your visit will begin with a short welcome talk from our Headteacher, Mrs Leach, followed by a guided tour in a small group, led by one of our senior members of staff.

The tour will last approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Important Information

• Please enter the school through the main gate on Speer Road. If you arrive after 9am, please use the entrance via Old School Square.
• To help us maintain a calm and focused environment, we kindly ask that only adults attend the tour.
• We understand that some parents may need to bring young babies, and infants in slings are very welcome.
• Unfortunately, due to limited space, we are unable to accommodate pushchairs during the tour.

Mainstream School Tours

Please note that these tours are for our mainstream school provision and do not include The Nest, our specialist SEND provision.

If you are interested in a place in The Nest, please contact the school office directly for further information and to discuss visiting.

Applying for an In-Year Place

If your child is seeking an in-year place at Thames Ditton Infant School, you may be able to arrange a personal tour as part of your admissions enquiry. Please contact the School Office on 020 8398 5842, and we’ll be happy to advise you.

For families applying for a Reception place for September 2027, please book one of our scheduled prospective parent tours above. We are unable to offer individual tours for Reception applications.
