Free milk for children under 5

At Thames Ditton Infant School, we offer free school milk to children under the age of five through the Nursery Milk Scheme.

Every child under five who meets the scheme's eligibility requirements can receive a daily portion of fresh, chilled milk at school.

How to register

Parents and carers need to register their child with Cool Milk to receive free school milk.

Please register your child online by 5pm on a Tuesday for their milk to start the following week.

Free milk is available until the Friday before your child's fifth birthday.

What happens when my child turns 5?

From September 2026, Thames Ditton Infant School will only provide free school milk to children who are under 5. We will not be offering the paid school milk option for children aged 5 and over.

Children aged 5 and over who are eligible for statutory benefits-based Free School Meals may still be entitled to free school milk. Please contact the School Office if you believe your child may be eligible.
