Support for Families

At Thames Ditton Infant School, we recognise that families may need additional support at different times. Below are a range of local services and organisations that can provide information, advice and assistance on education, childcare, health, wellbeing and family support.

Childcare and Family Support

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

The Surrey Local Offer provides information, advice and support for children and young people aged 0–25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), as well as their families. The website includes guidance on education, training, health services and support available across Surrey.

Funded Early Education

Eligible children may be able to access funded early education and childcare places.

Funded Early Education for Two-Year-Olds (FEET)

Families receiving additional forms of support may be eligible for funded childcare for two-year-olds.

Family Information Service

The Family Information Service provides free, impartial information and signposting for families with children and young people aged 0–19 (or up to 25 for those with additional needs).

Tax-Free Childcare

Eligible families may receive financial support towards childcare costs through the Government's Tax-Free Childcare scheme.
